Not Really A Song, But, This Is Just Basically Some Home Recordings I'm Gonna Do On A Little Amplifier, Microphone, Guitar And Such. Just Climbed Up The Stairs So Don't Worry About That Bull Crap Sound. A Little Toy Amplifier My Parents Got For My Nephew Whom I Love But Who I Also Yelled At A Little While Ago, And I'm Sorry For That. I Got This Title Because It's Just A Bull Crap Title One. Wah! I Can Actually Get Feedback On This. See That, On This Little Toy Amplifier? It's Hard To Believe. Here I Go! Me Fix It Out There. Oh See I Love You. Baby, I Love You. I Love You Baby, Baby I Love You Blah, Hahahahahahaho! That Was Very Nice. And If You Ever Figure Out How I Did That, And How I Make Such Ridiculous Noises Out Of My Little Voice, Well You Go Tell Me And I'll Do It Again. Hi, Bye! I Love You. On That Special Lovely Note (Cough)

All Right, Test, Test, Test. 1-2-3-4. Wo! With Me And My Alarm Clock, Yeah. Me And My Alarm Clock, Clock, Clock, Clock, Clock, Click-Ity Clock. I Sit Upon A Falling Star. I Sit Beneath The Throne. I Lack The Things To Make Me Here. My Heart Has Turned To Stone. I Say The Things That Make Me Well, But I Don’t See The Right, To Take My Hand, The One I Had And Bring It Into Sight. They Stoned My Hand Before I Die; The King Is My Own Shell. I’ll Kill Him Now Before I’m Dead, I’ll Send Him To His Hell. He Killed My Race Of Human Man; Thou Shall Not Want To Kill. But When It Comes To My Own Love, Death Is My Own Will. I’ll Grab His Gut And Kill His Soul, My Hand Of Flesh And Bone, But Now The King Is Dead And Gone, I Lost My Hand Of Stone. Now I’m Free Of His Insight, I’ll Go Out To The Sea And Toss My Hand Of Stone Away And Walk Away So Free. Hoah! Yes I Heard My Friend, Oha, Oh Ho-Ho! The Alarm Clock And Me, Thank You Very Much. You’re Welcome! Thank You Very Much, The End!

about

Of all the albums one can put out, this is probably the least commercial by any group in any form. These are recordings made over a span of a couple dozen years, from mono tape recorders, to two track recorders, to digital recordings. One can say there are many flavors here, but in truth, it's all bits and pieces of experiments done over the years, not necessarily for the listener to enjoy, but more likely to repel. Often, when I write several songs in a short expansion of time, they all begin to sound the same to me. To help ward off boredom and monotony, I tend to decompress by making (or writing and creating) noises—noises of all sorts from any source. Where a Foley master would have all the tools at their arsenal, all I had was some inexpensive ways to record my thoughts and feelings with my archaic equipment, using my imagination. Sometimes I'd do these recordings to help me clear my head and ready myself in writing more legitimate material. Other times, it was to lay down an idea which I may return and conceive, what I would call, a more mainstream creation. Ofttimes, it would just be to satisfy my curiosity on how certain things sounded, whether it came from nature or an electronic device. I've written and recorded dozens of these styles of “music,” (which has been given a lackluster label of “avant-garde,”) but it was mostly meant for inspiration to continue on my musical journey when I got into a songwriter's rut. When artistically feeling overly saturated, I usually need to take the garbage out so that I may work on a new canvass and begin again; my creative way to start anew. Though I have no egotistical belief that any of these songs would sell, I still want to share, with anyone who would dare listen, the side of me that no one usually gets to know or hear. Where the musician in me wishes to please his audience, in the case of this album, I am showing you my most vulnerable and exposed side of my nature. Nearly every artist goes through this ordeal in life, but not too many ever wish to share it. At the very least, I hope to inspire others not to give up. So now, I present to you The Santairs 19th digital album release, “Excrement Hits The Oscillator.” (Who says one can't also have some fun with the title of an album as well?) --Wayde K. Brown

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
