about

This is recording #463. I just took a mono tape recorder (again with bad batteries) and grabbed two “instruments” that my son had as a toddler and played it, making various noises and nothing else. It wasn’t meant to be anything except to inspire something, which it apparently never did. For the sake of doing something avant-garde again, here’s another recording I used from a metal cassette tape and transferred it over from a Denon DRM-700 and onto the Audacity music editor program on my computer (which was fast becoming obsolete—the computer that is.) I know these recordings make me sound beyond unprofessional, but that works for me. I swear more than half my audience will think I’m on some major illegal drugs or something. (This was one of the last avant-garde tunes I recorded until I started working on other projects in 2009.) This recording was originally done around 2001. It was recorded one year after my divorce which made me open up to more possibilities of life in general once again, so the musical juices started flowing after being shut off by my ex-wife for a few years. In other words, I had to record the “crap” before I could break through and write and record something worthy of listening ears.

Recorded at MINE music Studio in Auburn, WA.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
