Most of these tracks are recordings I did on either a portable mono tape recorder or a two track machine. I made these recordings between the ages of 7-17 years of age; the years 1977-1987. It was just me having some fun making various noises and recording whatever came to mind. I also got the idea to just leave the tape recorder outside and record whatever random sounds were out there, from planes flying overhead, to kids playing in the street, to cars driving by, and the wind blowing outdoors, and so on. I thought it would be cool to listen to what I recorded after the cassette tape ran out. It was just a kid's imagination running wild, but when I grew older, I found out there were albums already out with recordings of natural sounds like wind, rain, beaches, waterfalls, etc. So, I can't claim I was the first person to do this, but I can claim that it made my childhood much less boring than the average one. None of these recordings are very professional, but it is a small glimpse into what my young mind was thinking back in the day before I could actually play guitar and write original songs of my own.
