about

This is another one of those silly recordings I made when I was a young teenager, probably 13 or 14 years old. This is the only recording I made using our home reel to reel tape recorder my father had. It's just a bunch of vocal noises with delay and echo thrown on the recording while performing it live as I was recording it. It's not a true song, but more like a fun avant-garde experiment with bits of noises thrown together. When you're 13 years old, tape delay was a BIG thing to explore. This is probably like the 10th actual recording I made. Since I didn't "complete" this project until much later, it becomes recording #576.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
