about

There’s not too much to say about this “song” except that it was totally improvised and recorded on two passes onto two different tracks. I was just mumbling whatever came out of my mouth and playing guitar notes just to see what kinds of noises I could come up with. The title reflects how I felt about the experiment. I don’t think it was something I was ever going to let anyone hear. I know I took parts of this recording and used it on different avant-garde performances. This one is the “pure” one left fully intact, as is. The recording does show you some of the crazy insights into my mind sometimes. I truly was doing these “weird” things before I knew The Beatles (let along John and George) recorded avant-garde songs, like Revolution 9. When I found out that these crazy things had been recorded by these guys, I didn’t feel so crazy after all. I always maintained that I had to record/write some gibberish so that I could get to the “real” songs I wanted to work on.
This is song #237.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
