about

I transferred this obnoxious “tune” from a cassette tape onto Audacity sound editor using a Denon DRM-700 Precision Audio Component/Stereo Cassette Tape Deck. This avant-garde “tune” was recorded to purposefully anger the person listening to it, because I had this high pitched sound going through out the recording. It was so loud and prevalent on the original recording that I couldn’t even listen to it for more than a few seconds. With the Audacity program, I was able to invert the sound waves and flip it onto one track as a mono recording instead of stereo, giving it a chance for it to be heard. At least now it is listen-able, but the high pitched frequency can still be heard, and it’s just enough to drive a person nuts if they listen to it long enough. It’s a “balance” I can now live with. Like I said, it was meant to grind your teeth, but the original was so bad on the ears that I couldn’t do anything with it until the digital age caught up with my crazy experiments. The title of the song means absolutely nothing.
This is recording #303.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
