about

No, the title is correct. I grabbed the mono tape recorder I had and started playing a cheap guitar through a toy amplifier (which I still have to this day) while screaming into a microphone I plugged into it. I did this as an experiment and found that it made some really interesting noises. I never had it used for anything else like I thought I would in the future, so this becomes an avant-garde piece of (whatever you want to call it.) You hear me talking in the recording too, and doing other silly odds and ends. It was recorded in Feb. 1989. On this “tune” you can hear my somewhat odd sense of humor shine. The “title” of this particular piece came from another experiment. I had an unabridged version of Webster’s Dictionary at hand. With it closed, I opened a page and pointed at one word at a time to get the title, so it was totally random. I just tagged the “50’s-60’s” part as another gag since everyone who knew me at the time understood that this era of music was the one I loved the most.
I transferred this tape onto the Audacity music editor software from a Denon DRM-700, 3 head stereo cassette tape deck.
This tune (if you can call it that) is #361.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

Not Really A Song, But, This Is Just Basically Some Home Recordings I'm Gonna Do On A Little Amplifier, Microphone, Guitar And Such. Just Climbed Up The Stairs So Don't Worry About That Bull Crap Sound. A Little Toy Amplifier My Parents Got For My Nephew Whom I Love But Who I Also Yelled At A Little While Ago, And I'm Sorry For That. I Got This Title Because It's Just A Bull Crap Title One. Wah! I Can Actually Get Feedback On This. See That, On This Little Toy Amplifier? It's Hard To Believe. Here I Go! Me Fix It Out There. Oh See I Love You. Baby, I Love You. I Love You Baby, Baby I Love You Blah, Hahahahahahaho! That Was Very Nice. And If You Ever Figure Out How I Did That, And How I Make Such Ridiculous Noises Out Of My Little Voice, Well You Go Tell Me And I'll Do It Again. Hi, Bye! I Love You. On That Special Lovely Note (Cough)

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
