This song actually borders more on the avant-garde than anything else. I took this recording to Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle run by legendary engineer, Kearney Barton (who recorded The Kingsmen “Jolly Green Giant” of “Louie, Louie” fame, The Sonics “Psycho”, The Frantics “Werewolf”, and many others.) It was an 8 track analog studio, recorded onto 1 inch reel tape. He took the cassette I had and cleaned it up a bit with his equipment. Years later, I transferred this “song” onto the Audacity program and reversed it at places and changed some small things about it. With the digital age, one can speed up this “song” and find out what I was watching as I accidentally recorded this, even with my disguising it a little by reversing some parts, etc.
To finish off this particular mix, I had to convert it from a cassette format onto the Audacity program on my computer with a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck 3 motor Silent Mechanism.
Would you believe this song is #270? This wasn't even meant to be a song. You can actually call it “sampling” but by total accident. I was watching a movie and had my mono tape recorder with me and pressed record by accident. For some reason, either due to low batteries or some other anomaly, it recorded the sound at an extremely low speed. I thought, cool, and kept it around for possible future use. This recording was made around 1988.
