WITH A LITTLE KINDNESS

from I AM AM I (2024 Remaster) by The Santairs

/

about

I don't remember too much about this song, except my notes state that I wrote this within a few minutes, pretty much a first draft. I know I was listening to psychedelic rock at that time, from Donovan, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and some avant-garde stuff. I thought this song was a bit unique because of the beat changes and rhythms.
This is song #295.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

Shining On A Silver Star Comes A Gliding Light,
Falling From The Heaven's Core Like A Pale Moonlight.
Nothing Ever I Saw Was So Radiant.
It's So Much Like The Love That You Sent.
Glorious Night, Glorious Day.

All That I See Is Crying.
All That Is Known Will Fall Soon.
Alike A Dream, We Can Stay Alive.

With A Little Kindness, We Can Be
Living In Hope And Harmony,
But All I See Is Poverty.
(Solo)
To Close My Sermon For Today,
I Preach To You That Someday,
With Our Sins, We Will Pay With Our Past.
(Solo)

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
