This is one of the earlier songs that I wrote back in 1985/86. I was heavily influenced by the late 50’s and early 60’s music and I wanted to pay homage to that era. I kept the beat and lyrics fairly simple. I re-wrote the 2nd verse just before I recorded this on 7/29/12 in our home studio called, The CELL BLOCK Studio. Yet again, on this recording, I performed all the instruments while recording everything at the engineering controls, a task in which I still find a bit difficult. This is a simple song with a simple beat and I think I accomplished what I wanted to do with it. In 2013, I decided to add hand claps to this song with The RICE CRACKER PROJECT and used it for their CD release, “Sequence.”
