This is one of those earlier songs I wrote when I was 15 or 16 years old while I was in a creative writing class. I always imagined this as a big band kind of thing with a woman singing the lead vocals. I did my best to make this song somewhat presentable. I used a few special effects on my voice and the instruments to give it a certain atmosphere. I also recorded this in a flash, in less than 2 ½ hours, playing both musician and engineer. It’s a simple song and I decided to keep it that way. The only thing I changed from the demo I made in 1986, (besides of few lyrical lines), was a small part during the solo and the ending. The original ending was a basic outro and I wanted it to be different, so I let the ride cymbal ring for a dozen or more seconds for a fade out. This is song #64.
