I wrote this song at my girlfriend's house while playing one of her bass guitars. The basic riff, which I'm sure had been done many times, was stuck in my head and the melody soon followed, so I decided to write the entire song right then and there. It took me about half an hour. I recorded it the next day. The basic idea of the story is based on several things my girlfriend and I have in common and said to me while I was writing the tune.
