about

I wrote this in the late 80's about the Green River killer, who many knew about in the Pacific Northwest where I grew up, but nobody knew who he was. Of course, he was caught many years later. The story is a bit vague and I wanted the recording to feel “off” or “odd and uncomfortable.” I used various vocal techniques and effects as well as playing the instruments slightly off key in various places, with backwards noises and so on. The production of this song was something I had fun in completing. It's kind of a combination of a normal song mixed with the avant-garde.
This is song #333.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

You Travel Around, Lost But Never Found.
You Are A Maniac Under The Attack.
Love Doesn't Exist. Kill Who You Don't Need.
You Are Beyond The Cruel. You Despise A Fool.

Is It A Sin To Be A Sinner,
Treating People Like A Game?
Life And Death Has No Meaning To You.
To You All It Is Is All The Same.

You're The Murdering Man. You Destroy All You Can.
Despite How You Feel, You Enjoy The Kill.
(Solo)
It Is A Sin To Be A Sinner,
On The Prowl Without A Name.
You Are The Murdering Man.
Life And Death To You Is All The Same.

Murdering Man. The Murdering Man. You're The Murdering Man
(Solo)

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
