This was a song my father's best friend, Ruben Rodriguez wrote when I was a teenager. This is one of several of them. I never made of demo of it when he played it for me, so I was going completely by memory on how to perform this song. I think I got the gist of it. He wrote most of the lyrics and I think I changed a couple words and re-arranged it a little bit. Again, I was guessing on the melody and chord progression, so my re-write may be more mine than his now.
