The AVANT-GARDE process: I'm posting some "avant-garde" songs which I consider to not be usable in the mainstream in any fashion, but I had a fun time doing them and recording them. Most of these "songs" were recorded on a mono tape recorder (while others were a bit more sophisticated using reel to reel tapes, 2 track recorders, etc.) I recorded the bulk of these "songs" back in the years of 1980-1990. It was something where I was just holding on to the tape recorder and recording sounds, noises, and real life of things that were happening around me. Some of the sounds had a specific idea and were going to be used on actual songs I wrote but never came to fruition. Some of these songs are only a couple seconds long while others hit the range of over an hour. Thanks to the Audacity program, I'm able to save these songs onto a digital format before the tapes degrade to a point of no return. I'm posting these as a testament of how I learned to become a writer, and also a time capsule of what my childhood was like where creativity was concerned (before I learned how to actually write songs), though most people will find these songs as garbage or noise, which is fine by me. And if these "songs" inspire anyone to create something of their own, I would encourage them to continue. This is song #92. In truth, this was recorded in my parent's basement after a jam session with a few musician friends of mine. I had a cassette tape where I needed to fill in the end space of the tape, so I recorded this after our jam, which was just us making noises, talking, and playing some familiar tunes while others were doing other things within those little noises. It's not really a song, but just a very small glimpse of the happenings of some teenagers getting together and jamming at the end of a session before leaving. I added the “Part II” to the title as a joke.
