The meanings behind this song is supposed to be a bit confusing and vague. I was kind of thinking in the point of view of Judas, but taking extreme poetic license. I wanted a very psychedelic feeling to this song, and I think I got the gist of it. While recording this tune in the studio, I kept having technical difficulties in a few places where I usually would never have problems. I also had some latency issues that usually never pop up either. Because of these technical problems, this song took about 2 hours longer to record than my average song. I felt someone above didn't like me spoofing this kind of song about Him, but I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. As “artists” and “writers” we tend to forget the bigger meaning behind what we do, but this song isn't meant to be controversial or mean towards anyone's belief in religion or in any other way; it's more about the frailty and often times, idiocy of mankind.
