Though it is sloppy and avant-garde by nature, it was also something truly fun to record and was totally off the cuff. I made it up as we went along and recorded it. We did two takes in my home studio. You'll hear my then wife talking in the background while my 4 year old niece was playing a guitar and singing the name of our female Doberman, “Mimi.” When she did this, I started playing on another toy guitar (purposely out of tune like hers) and began singing the same thing with her as I pressed the “record” button. We did this for about a minute, two different times. This is the result.
