After my (first) divorce, a new neighbor moved in upstairs from me. (I lived in a condo.) She was very pretty and nice, but what struck me was the sound and spelling of her name. I thought it was unique and worthy of a song. So, that's how this song came to be. I wrote most of it back in 1999, but I completed it in July, 2017. I just did a quick re-write and some minor adjustments and completed the project. I wanted it to have a late 50's rock-a-billy feel to it with a much heavier rock bridge, which wouldn't seem to go together normally.
