This was the first version of this song I did back at Audio Recording, Inc. with Kearney Barton as the engineer in 1988. I think I did this in one or two takes, performing it live with Bill Fletcher on drums and my father on bass. This is the rawest and the basic of the versions I've recorded over the years. I did one other guitar overdub and that was about it for this particular recording. (The lyrics are slightly different in this version as well.)
