Some songs succeed in what they're supposed to do. This one, on the other hand, misses its mark. I considered this more of an experimental song as far as what not to do in the writing, recording, and mixing a song. This was written as a sort of sequel to my earlier song I wrote called COME BACK TO ME, which is a far superior song (which was recorded badly as well, and not professionally.) Students at the UW recorded that song for free as a class project, so both songs never exactly got its full due as far as I'm concerned, even though I had total control of LOVER LOVER.
