LONG DISTANCE BEWARE

from EXPERIMENTAL TAPE (2024 Remaster) by The Santairs

/

about

All I remember about this song is that it was influenced by various 60's and 70's groups like CCR, Blood Sweat and Tears, Iron Butterfly, etc. who had some long songs on albums that I liked. Even though this song isn't all that long, it isn't a short one either. I think RAMBLE TAMBLE by CCR was the major influence.
This is song #160.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

Long Distance Beware, Take Care! Beware!
Time Has Not Come For You To Run, For You To Run.
Old Memories Of The Past, I See At Last.
The Message I See Is All Gone, Can't Go On.
(Solo)
Oh, Ah, Oh!
(Solo)
Yes I Know, I've Been Told, Your Love's So Cold.
Yes I Know, I've Been Told, Your Love's So Cold.
(Solo)
Love Me, Loving You, Loving Me.
Love, Love I See.
Love, Love You See.
Loving, Loving You, Loving, Loving Me.
Loving, Loving You, Loving, Loving Me.
(Solo)

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
