This was my first attempt at a semi-psychedelic tune. The words purposely made no sense, and yet, they do have a vague meaning. Think of this story as the 99%, the “little people” and this song is about them, in a very strange and odd poetic way. Don't try to make too much sense of the lyrics, but the hidden meanings behind it do make sense. Society still lives and accepts nonsense to this day.
I was “stressing” what kind of solo to put into this song, and when I decided to record the first take of it, I decided to keep it. So, the solo was a-one off, sort to speak.
This is song #56.
Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.
lyrics
Decorations Of Yellow And Blue,
Glowing Dreams And Faded Flowers Too.
Little People Dancing In The Street,
Movin' In Time, Yet Dancin' Off Beat.
Sunken Ships With A Dark, Blue Sky.
Graffiti Towers That Reach So High.
Little People Flocking In Our Homes.
Take My Money But Just Leave Me Alone.
Endless Fortress With Nobody There.
You're So Gone And You Don't Even Care.
Get So High And Reach For The Moon.
Do This Now Or Wait Until It's Soon.
Find The Source Where The Dark Horse Lives.
The Little People Keep On Digging Their Digs.
Dimple-Shaped Clouds With Dilute, Clean Air,
Homing Pigeons With Nothing To Be There.
Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Dum,
Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Dum,
Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Dum,
Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Da, Dum.
(Solo)
Prison Walls Surrounding My Whole Face.
You Stole Some Time And You Don't Know Where It's Placed.
Fresh Green Air With Nothing For Two.
Nothingness Come Running Back To You.
Little People Dying For A Cause.
The Little People Died From All Your Laws.
Little People, Oo! Little People, Ah!
I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I
could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs....more
I've jammed with this guy and have heard this band live. They play with all their soul and it shows--you can hear it as well as feel the music. The Santairs
