This recording is just pure nonsense and for the fun of it. Never wanting to let a good (or bad) sound go to waste, I had this recording and spliced it in several pieces and used an EQ I never tried before to make it sound like it came from an AM station with really bad reception. So, as an engineering experiment, it was interesting for me. However, this recording was made during my first couple months playing guitar. It wasn’t very good, but it also wasn’t meant to be. The actual recording is of me writing the song “From Nowhere” as I was doing it. The recorder was on and I started spewing off words and chords. A real song eventually formed out of this, but I only kept the first verse and discarded the other few verses later since they didn’t really mean anything. The final recording of “From Nowhere” is more an afterthought of a song, but some people really seem to like it. So, if one is curious on how that song came to light, it started from this actual recording, though I edited it like crazy so there are no vocals and the guitar sounds way off in most places. Part of that is the performance as well, since ideas were forming as I was playing it.
