This song was recorded at Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle by legendary engineer, Kearney Barton (who recorded The Kingsmen “Jolly Green Giant” of “Louie, Louie” fame, The Sonics “Psycho”, The Frantics “Werewolf”, and many others.) It was an 8 track analog studio, recorded onto 1 inch reel tape.
This song features just me programming all the keyboard sounds while playing certain parts live. Kearney, the engineer, came up with most of the title, while I extended it just to be sillier.
To finish off this particular mix, I had to convert it from a cassette format onto the Audacity program on my computer with a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck 3 motor Silent Mechanism.
This is the 427th song that I wrote back during the “Ka-Trina” sessions. I wrote this kind of as a way to make fun of polkas, plus, it's kind of fun in its own right. Was never meant to be taken seriously, though there is like a circus atmosphere that runs through-out it from time to time. This song also borders on the avant-garde, but it's too funny to be categorized as such.
