about

This song was “cleaned-up” at Audio Recording, Inc. by engineer Kearney Barton of Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle, WA. and put onto cassette form. I used a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck with a 3 motor silent mechanism for the cassette tape transfers.
This is the 118th song I wrote. Though this sounds a bit basic, it was one of the more fun ones we tried. I asked guitarist friend, Jerry O'Neil, to come over with the game plan of not only doing something avant-garde and noisy, but with an objective to finish off the recording with it reversed. You can hear Jerry playing part of the riff of “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” frontwards, then backwards. And Jerry saying the “F” word forwards, then backwards by saying, “You Cuff.” It was a bit odd but a lot of fun. It's no piece of art, but it is artistic to a certain degree. I think this was recorded on a 2 track system, but I'm not sure if it was mine or Jerry's.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
