about

This was one of the first full versions of the song, “Images.” This was recorded live on a two track recording at my father’s house (just before the music studio was built.) It features me on guitar and lead vocals, my father Clint Brown on bass, and Bill Fletcher on drums. It’s a basic, stripped down version, but it gave me a good idea where the song was headed. The recording was rough since it was also mixed down from an old cassette tape.
Recording #85:

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

IMAGES I SEE OF YOU AND ME. EVERYTHING SO CLEAR; EVERYTHING SINCERE,
AND I LOVE YOU.
IMAGES OF YOU, NOW WHAT CAN I DO?
THE THINGS WE HAD SHARED, I THOUGHT YOU CARED,
STILL I LOVE YOU.

OH, MY LOVE IS TRUE. ALL I WANT IS YOU,
AND NOW YOU’VE GONE AWAY, MY IMAGES ARE THROUGH.

IMAGES I’VE HAD MADE ME SO SAD.
MY IMAGES HAVE DIED AND I CRIED.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
