I’M GOING OUT OF MY MIND

about

This is an unusual recording. It’s pretty much one same bass riff over and over with a lead guitar (and some minor percussion here and there.) It was recorded live on my old two track recorder with me on bass (and some percussion) and Jerry O’Neill on guitar. If I remember correctly, I had this jam in mind before I wrote an actual song around it called “Transit 9.” Sometime around 1986, I wanted just to record a simple and fun jam with my friend, Jerry. There’s no drummer; just the two of us making some noise together. He and I enjoyed doing these off the wall things from time to time. This jam is very avant-garde in nature and not really meant for anyone to hear, but since I’m pretty much cataloging everything I’ve recorded and wrote, I’m including this one as well. This recording is pretty much as is without anything else extra except some minor clean up using the Audacity sound editor.
This is song #233.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
