about

This is another one of those “dark” tunes I wrote years ago disguised as a happy tune at the end. I got the idea from John Lennon's song, “God.” This song is a much simplified version of that concept and I kept it that way on purpose. I remember a lot of my teenage friends told me that this particular song spoke to them. So I was happy it had the effect I wanted, even back then.
This is song #105.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

I Left My Life In What I Thought I Had Before,
But Now It's Gone, I See The End.
I Walked The Streets Of Purple Haze From Out Of The Blue.
I See The Things That Would Scare The Hell Out Of You.

I Don't Believe In God.
I Don't Believe In You.
I Don't Believe In Religion.
I Don't Believe In Your Truth, Oho!

I See The Bloody Streets That We Have Made To Ruin.
I Live In Dreams That Make Me Cry.
I Walk The Path Of Lonely Times Of Hate And Pain.
Now I See A Life For Me That Died Once Again.

I Don't Believe In Love.
I Don't Believe What I See.
I Don't Believe In War.
I Just Believe In Me, Oho!

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
