This song was recorded at Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle by legendary engineer, Kearney Barton (who recorded The Kingsmen “Jolly Green Giant” of “Louie, Louie” fame, The Sonics “Psycho”, The Frantics “Werewolf”, and many others.) It was an 8 track analog studio, recorded onto 1 inch reel tape.
This song featured Wayde Brown (me) on guitars and lead vocal, Nick Wilcox on bass, and Dan on drums (not Dan Penland who usually performed with us.) Dan was a sit in drummer for this particular session only, where we recorded two original songs; this one and “Can You Understand.” We decided to do an upscale, hard rock version of this song, though it was originally written in the late 50's. We feel this version rocks, but my father didn't care for it. He wanted me to eventually do a version that's more faithful to his vision. The other version of this song is so different than this one, it almost qualifies as another song. It's about as different as Dale Hawkins' version of “Susie-Q” verses Creedence Clearwater Revival's version of it.
To finish off this particular mix, I had to convert it from a cassette format onto the Audacity program on my computer with a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck 3 motor Silent Mechanism.

This is the 36th song that was completed as far as being written. My father, Clinton Brown, co-wrote this song back in the late 1950's but had forgotten the lyrics to the main verses, though he remembered the choruses. So, I had to finish writing the verses to complete this song....again.
