My best childhood friend, Jennifer, gave birth to a child and named her Heather-Marie. That event inspired this tune. I wrote this song fairly quickly, though half the original lyrics I wrote were just for reference. Over the years, it has evolved into this final version, so to both Jennifer and Heather, I dedicate this song to them and their ongoing legacy.
