I just took a basic riff (heard most famously from the song WHOLE LOTTA LOVE by Led Zeppelin) and wrote this tune. It's a pretty straight forward song that doesn't deviate from the main verses. I wrote this fairly quickly, actually writing it while en-route to a party. I didn't care for the lyrics very much, but I always liked the beat. The intro was just something I did as a joke. A few friends of mine loved Heavy Metal, and I mostly considered it noise, especially back then. So, with that in mind, I came up with this silliness to start the song. I also remember the party itself. It was one of the few gigs where I was chaperoned via a limo. And it was also the first and only time where I got a contact high, since the room we performed in was enclosed and it seemed everyone in that room was smoking pot.
