Yes, this was the title of the song when I first wrote it years before Samuel L. Jackson put the “F” word in his lullaby tune. I wrote this for my son when he was born back in '97. I played it for him when he was a baby, but I never had a recording of it. For this recording, nearly 2 decades later, the only thing I changed was leaving his name off the song and title. Even though this song was for him, it could be for any boy (or girl if you change the words a little) listening to this song. The song is about as basic as it gets, but that was the idea. I apologize to my son for not getting this recorded when he could have enjoyed it, but at least he got to hear me do the live version a few times....before he could utter a word.
