These recordings are #254 and #255 respectively. I wrote the first “tune/mock play” after seeing a few plays at high school. I always got a kick out of the students who tried to overact during their performances. So, in writing the words and in my performance back in the summer of 1987, I was trying to duplicate the overacting during the recording.
As for the avant-garde tune that follows, it was a collection of pieces I wrote on a classical acoustic guitar. An actual song was created out of this recording entitled, “Sirena Calls My Name” which was recorded by one of the band's I perform with called The RICE CRACKER PROJECT.
I transferred from a MAXELL UR90 IEC I/Type I Normal bias cassette tape onto the Audacity music editor software from a Denon DRM-700, 3 head stereo cassette tape deck.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.
