FASCINATION (I WANNA HOLD YOU) demo

This is the 5th real song I wrote (though this demo version makes it recording #553, even though it was recorded 20 years before the last version). I was 15 years old at the time. A friend of mine wrote nearly half this song. He also wrote part of the first verse and made up the basic beat. I finished the rest of the words later. I was attempting to write a very basic rock and roll tune. I was, and still am, a fan of CCR and I tried to put a lead similar to that. I wrote this song about the time I heard John Fogerty's "The Old Man down the Road." Even after all these years, I still like the beat. Lyrics are also very basic. You can tell a 15 year old wrote them. It's still fun, even after all these years.
This version was recorded by Kearney Barton of Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle as a class project with various students having a hand at recording and working on this demo.
