about

Here's about the only recording of avant-garde material I made that I never gave a title nor organized into any file. I just happened to find it while clearing out other cassettes I had made of various noises and demos. Even though this recording is pure nonsense, I was a bit excited to have found it. I used a '63 Fender Jazzmaster through an old Fender amplifier (that eventually blew up and caught fire years later.) I had this untitled song under the 20 or so tapes I called EXPERIMENTAL TAPES. So, I pretty much just used that title for this brilliant piece (of ****.) I think I recorded this with a mono tape recorder with bad batteries instead of my usual 2 track recorder I had back then. Maybe that's why I didn't categorize this or added it to any other collection. At least it's not as long as some of my other weird recordings.
This is recording #571.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
