I made this demo in my home studio to give to Rice Cracker Project. I think this was around 2011 or so. Usually I don't keep demo takes of my songs after I've recorded them professionally, but I decided to keep this one since it's so close to the final version in feel, and this was the first draft of the song. The lyrics changed slightly, and this version only has two guitars and one lead vocal. I recorded the picking guitar part first in one take, then the rhythm guitar in one take, and the lead vocal in one take. I think it was around 3 am and I performed everything as quietly as possible. I kept the click track on there as reference for the drums. I shared this demo with Rice Cracker Project and they were interested working on this tune, which eventually ended up on the their album SEQUENCE.
