about

When I was a teenager, I had a nightmare/dream, (and some would say premonition), that I was going to face something in my future that will cause me to question everything that I learned and held dear. As with most people, we all face adversity, some more than others, and some more complicated than others. One person's pain is another person's pleasure, so it can't always be quantifiable. Life itself is unpredictable—or at least the outcome of one's life. Because of this nightmare I had, I wrote this song to remind me that things will be okay. About 2 years ago, an event took place that changed my life, including my entire family. Unfortunately, I didn't “find” this song again until just recently. And amazingly, my own words from the past helped me put things into a better perspective. It's not too often a person is able to tell themselves that they will be okay in the future after a life-changing event, but in my case, I was able to do just that. This song is a good reminder to me that struggles can be a daily thing and not necessarily just a one time event, so I have to keep that in mind as well, for I never know what the future may truly hold.
This is song #321.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

Dear Wayde, It's Gonna Be Okay.
Dear Wayde, Just Take It Day By Day.
Oh Please, Just Let It Go.
The Pain Will Only Hurt More.

Never Let The Heart Give In.
Just Keep Fighting 'Til The End.
Soon You'll Find A Way
To Be Who You Are, To Be Who You Are.
(Solo)
Dear Wayde, Listen To Your Head.
Dear Wayde, Be Yourself Instead.
You Know Just Who You Are.
Don't Be Afraid Of Your Scars.

Listen Up Just One More Time.
Open Up Your Heart Again.
You Don't Need To Hold All The Pain Within.
Let The Healin' Begin.
(Solo)
You've Felt All The Joy.
You're A Man But Still A Boy.
Dear Wayde, Don't Be Shy.
Dear Wayde, It's Okay To Cry. Dear Wayde!
(Solo)

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
