This song was recorded at Audio Recording, Inc. in Seattle by legendary engineer, Kearney Barton (who recorded The Kingsmen "Jolly Green Giant" of "Louie, Louie" fame, The Sonics "Psycho", The Frantics "Werewolf", and many others.) It was an 8 track analog studio, recorded onto 1 inch reel tape.
The players were: Wayde Brown (me) on vocals, lead and rhythm acoustic guitars, Sean Crain on bass, and Mike Penland on drums.

This was the 418th song I wrote, but this recording makes song #558. This was the first version I made (where you can still hear the bass mistake in it and the 2nd lead guitar is missing) with me doing the entire lead vocal, which was obviously out of my range, but everything else was pretty much finished. I just had to get a final lead vocal for me and a female singer to help me out. I found a young lady named Elva (who's family claimed she was related to Elvis Presley) and gave her a shot. Unfortunately, her vocals weren't up to par for what I was looking for. Then like magic, a friend of mine, Stuart, told me his sister, Donna, was one of the lead singers in her church choir and would probably do it. I invited her over to listen to the song and she sang it beautifully. We went to the studio and I got the final version.
