C.B. CALLING ZEBRA/TÊTE-À-TÊTE DISTRIBUTION

about

This song was "cleaned-up" at Audio Recording, Inc, by engineer Kearney Barton and put onto cassette form.
At this time, I am using a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck with a 3 motor silent mechanism for the cassette tape transfers.
This is song #150 on the list. This recording was made by me and my friend Sean Crain. The beginning is just me performing several instruments at once, with overdubs from my 2 track recorder. The next phase consists of what Sean recorded on his C.B. radio/receiver which came in live to the public, and anyone on that frequency heard it. The next part of the song consists of me making more noise, but this time with Sean when we were around 12-13 years old. After that, it's me fiddling with the radio knobs, then more feedback, more sounds, then back to the radio tuning. I did this before I knew John Lennon did something similar in some of his avant-garde albums.

Recorded and complied at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
