I used a JVC TD-W254 Double Cassette Deck with a 3 motor silent mechanism for the cassette tape transfers.
This is song #425 that I wrote, or I should say, sampled. I had a Kawai keyboard with these fillers programmed into it and I played all of them and recorded it at Audio Recording, Inc. directly into the recorder. It wasn't meant to be a song, but more like sampling of possibilities. I did this back in the late 80's just as artists started doing it all the time in songs. I wasn't going to put this into any specific song. All I wanted to do was hear it all in one long recording, and this is it. The last 2 minutes was just me being myself when it comes to avant-garde, where I was just making some random noises and enjoying myself.
