BALD MAN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD

from IT SEEMS SO STRANGE [Digitally Remastered] by The Santairs

/

about

This is another one of those silly songs I wrote in a few minutes. I had the title and beat bouncing around in my head for a couple of years and I just decided it was the time to get it out of there. I recorded this and performed all the instruments, doing it all within an hour and a half. The drums took the longest to get done, doing about 5 takes. The instrumentation was bare bones on purpose. I just wanted to have the drums do the main beat with the bass emphasizing the rest. I added the lead and backing vocals and called it done. The main chorus was a minor rip off of the Batman theme. This song is not meant to be mean to anyone or making fun of bald people. It’s just one of “those” songs I wrote and wanted to get it out of my system. No bald men were harmed in the making of this song.

This is song #533.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

BALD MAN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD!
BALD MAN, HIS BRAIN IS SMALLER THAN A TOAD.
BALD MAN IS CRAWLING UP THE STREET!
BALD MAN IS NOT USIN’ HIS FEET!

BALD MAN IS REALLY SMALL.
BALD MAN LOOKS LIKE A CUE BALL.
BALD MAN LIKES TO WAX HIS HEAD!
BALD MAN WISHES HE HAD HAIR INSTEAD!

BALD MAN…..BALD MAN…..
BALD MAN…..BALD MAN…..

BALD MAN IS ALL OVER THE PLACE,
BALD MAN IS INVADING MY SPACE.
BALD MY IS SO SICK AND TIRED,
BALD MAN IS REALLY GONE WIRED.

BALD MAN IS CRAWLING ON HIS KNEES.
BALD MAN DOES WHAT HE PLEASE.
BALD MAN GETS MY SYMPATHY
SINCE BALD MAN IS REALLY JUST ME.

BALD MAN…..BALD MAN…..
BALD MAN…..BALD MAN.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
