about

This “song” is a bit odd to say the least. It's one of those things that when you're 17 years old and you did this, you go “cool.” Two decades later, you go, “What the hell was I thinking!?” Anyway, this is one of only a few “songs” that I recorded in a friend's home studio. I technically did two songs there, but the quality was so poor, they were deemed totally unusable. However, I took the second song I did and ran it backwards on his machine, speeding it up and slowing it down, etc. and I said, “This is better than the other two real songs, so I'm using this.” I actually, kind of as a joke, put this “song” on the EP “Sleeping in Dreams--The Santairs” which has a copyright of 1990. So that's the total story in a nutshell. I guess one can classify this as an avant-garde tune, since it surely isn't a mainstream thing, nor is it an original idea, but hey, it was all for fun.
This qualifies as song #391.

Recorded at a friend’s no name studio, and mixed and mastered at MINE Music Studio in Auburn, WA.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
