about

“Audio Track, Burp, Left Overs, Mix 2, Oops, Prospector Play, What Key Is That” are 7 different tracks recorded by Prospector during band practices but are included as one long recording—or track. It was recorded during several practices in our home studio, The CELL BLOCK Studio. All the “recordings” were off the cuff stuff, just meant to be as a joke when we had some down time. It consists of Wayde Brown on guitar and vocals (me), Mark Hasbrook on acoustic guitar and vocals, Nick Wilcox on bass and vocals, and Skip MacDonald on drums, except the first track, “Audio Track” had added players Stephen Prescott on guitar and vocal, and Dan Penland on drums and vocal. This was recorded around 2007-2009, though the first part of the track “Audio Track” was recorded circa 1998. This project was more like a “Fly on the Wall” idea. Some of it was serious, some of it funny, and some of it mistakes, all to help tighten the band’s sound over the years.
This is song #509 of original material.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
