APORIA (DECONSTRUCTION OF DESTRUCTION)

from The Santairs Presents: RICE CRACKER PROJECT (2024 Remaster) by The Santairs

about

As a group (originally The Rice Cracker Project), we sometimes wrote songs together during jams. We recorded all jams and saved them on the computer. This song is from our CD album ‘Touch of Fantasy’. It is the only avant-garde song included in this release. It's actually 3 real unfinished songs combined into one. (We never intended to finish these 3 songs since they developed into other songs or was just plain unusable.) The 4th track was just a sound check with drums overdubbed several times. After combining the songs and sounds together, I experimented with just about every sound the Audacity program had to offer. There are over 100 different effects sounds that were included for this particular song. Musically, it may not be very interesting, but there are many different sounds in there that keeps it, at the very least, from being totally boring.
This is the 473rd song I wrote.

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
