A PARODY OF 'I'M THINKING OF DREAMS NOW'

from A COMEDY OF AIR ORES (2024 Remaster) by The Santairs

/

about

Ironically, the same person who inspired the original tune of “I'm Thinking Of Dreams Now” inspired this silly version. When we were dating, she would say, “Beat me, whip me, make me write bad checks.” Then she would laugh hysterically. At the time, I had no idea where that line came from, but I found it to be funny as well, especially since she said it during the most impromptu times. I later found out that line was a lyric of a song called, “Oh Maureen” by Black 47. So, in the spirit of the silliness, I wrote this. I pretty much used the same version I had already recorded of the original version, but just truncated it so I wouldn't have to repeat these oddball verses. I thought about singing it in a comedic manner but decided just to sing it straight. It'll probably offend some people, but I couldn't see why. This song is about as serious as a wart on your butt, so this song should be treated pretty much the same way.
This is song #285..

Recorded at The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

lyrics

When You Whip Me And Beat Me With Chains,
I Get This Feeling, I Love This Pain.
I'm Hopin' For You To Hit Me My Friend.
I'm Askin' For You To Whip Me Again All Night Long.

I'm Longing For You To Tie Me Up.
You Know That I Will Act As Your Slut.
I'll Get Down On My Hands And Knees,
And You Can Smack Me As You Please. Make Me Bleed, Make Me Bleed.

Get Out The Handcuffs.
Tape My Mouth And Legs.
Tie Me Up So High My Love.
Fertilize Your Eggs!

You Know You Love These One Night Stands,
And Being Naked In Front Of Your Man.
You're Going To Be My Little Mutt.
I'm Going To Fart As You Kiss My Big Butt On Your Bed, On Your Bed.

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
