about

I did this recording experiment out of pure boredom and silliness. Several groups I performed with would, at times, end songs unnecessarily long in my opinion. It was a way for the guitarist and drummer to show off their talents by prolonging the endings. I personally and professionally like clean endings much better since it makes a band sound tighter. Anyway, I took several recordings I had of songs we performed years back and combined them into one long ending. It’s not a new idea by any means, but it was something fun for me to do while waiting to start my other recording projects. The beginning (of these endings) is in two parts. The first is a combination of the several recordings mixed together all at once; the other part is each individual ending to a particular song. So, sit back and listen to this mess. If the bands I performed with just ended the songs cleanly, I wouldn’t have done this particular experiment. So, I guess I have them to thank.
This is song (recording) # 510.

Recorded at Mirror Sound Studios in Shoreline, WA. and The CELL BLOCK Studio in Auburn, WA.

about

The Santairs Auburn, Washington

I am a musician, singer, and songwriter doing this part-time but have been doing it all my life. I started singing before I could talk at the age of one, and wrote my first real song at 15 years of age. (If you count avant-garde as a song, then the age would be 7.) I currently own my own recording studio; and I write, perform, and record my own music (and other's from time to time.) I am Santairs. ... more
