I wrote this song with two ideas in mind concerning the story. One, it's about a dysfunctional family and abuse within a family unit. The other idea is based on everyone being "family"; like all men and women are brothers and sisters and that we are all hurting each other for whatever reasons, like divorce, war, religious persecution, etc. One notable musical aspect of this recording is that I played the solo with two bass guitars instead of electric guitars.
